We have really enjoyed visiting with friends this past week. On Friday night we had Virgil, Patsy and Becky over for dinner. After dessert Becky had to go home, but the rest of us watched Josh Grobin. It was a fun night and Katie was especially attached to Virgil and fell asleep in his lap. Saturday we had the Antonsens over for dinner and after Laura's delicious cheesecake we played some games. The card game Swap proved to be a big hit with all of us. The best part of the game though was when Justin got us all back for all the times he lost to the slap card. When a slap card is played, everyone has to put their hand on top of the card and the last one with their hand on top has to draw a card. Justin lost every time. Finally it was his turn to lay down a card and with much drama he pretended that he was about to lay down a slap card and we all scrambled to slap it only to find out that it was a swap card! He had a good laugh and so did every one else. Some times I don't realize how smart my kids are!

It was fun visiting with you guys! I'm glad we got to catch up. Your kids were fun as always, I sure enjoy them - and the gourmet cube steak and fixings were pretty nice, too! :)

I wish we could be fellowshipping with you too! But we are the ones that moved away, I suppose! We will remember our turkey frying thanksgiving with your family as we fry up our bird today! Dennis is going to have to hang out with me (Julie) instead of one of the guys this time...it just won't be the same! We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration today! We love you and miss you!
We too had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the fellowship wonderful. The kids were awesome and yes, it was cute watching Katie snuggle up to Virgil. He loved it. Us Grobinites enjoyed watching the DVD again as well. That guy can sing. Thanks for a great evening you guys.
