Brendan began looking through a cookbook that I borrowed from the McClennans. He really seemed quite interested in looking at all of the food and kept oohing and ahhing. Finally he found what he was looking for, the picture of the chocolate cake on the front of the book and he told me I could make it. He has such faith in my cooking abilities!

Hey, my husband thinks the same way! He'll find a picture in a cookbook and say, "Here honey, you can make this."
Aww... the men in our lives.
However, cooking can be quite enjoyable (especially with little helpers) as long as you don't mind what it eventually looks like.
