How to Entertain Kids....

We have discovered that the trick to getting brothers and sisters to sit really close to each other without fighting, is to give them an iPhone to play with... Hmmm. I wonder how long this will last...

Kids at School....

I thought it might be time to post a couple pictures of the kids busy at school. I remember when we first started three years ago, I took pictures of them doing their math. They have changed quite a bit. Justin is an expert at counting by 10's starting from any number. Rebecca is learning about measurement, multiplication and fractions. Brendan is reviewing alot of things in his math book from adding money, geometry, graphing to division and multiplication. Katie plays so nicely with her bucket of dogs that she got for Christmas.

Blast Off!

Robert and Justin have been busy building rockets. The first one was sent off into outerspace, never to be seen again. The second rocket will be launched sometime in the near future, after the snow subsides a little.

Some Crafty Time....

For obvious reasons, 4 to be specific, I have not had much time for quilting. I did manage to make three quilted charm totes. I kept one for myself and gave the other two to Rebecca and her friend Ally. I also thought I would try knitting a hat and just finished that this week. It isn't that good, but I did learn some new things and now there is another hat in the basket at the front door. Other than that, it is pretty quiet around here. The kids are doing well in school, I have been enjoying learning along with them at times. I especially enjoy history, I hope that they do too.
